Biography

This is not a real biography, it's instead a brief (and technical) curriculum vitae. Moreover, you can also take a look at my full curriculum vitae.

Work and projects

I'm a software designer and developer, with some experience on Bluetooth technology, context-aware services, mobile and ubiquitous computing.

I have a great experience about C and Java (J2SE, J2ME) programming and distributed/networking applications (TCP/IP, Bluetooth).

I studied computer science at the university, where I've taken my first degree with full marks.

The following is a list of projects, I've worked on:

  • Mobitouch (proximity marketing): Mobitouch is the proximity marketing solution realized by Waymedia, the first italian wireless application provider specialized in context-aware and location-based services.
  • Blues - Bluetooth Context-Aware System: I have designed and realized an infrastructure to provide context-aware services to mobile devices, using Bluetooth technology.
  • Participatory framework for SPADES (thesis): I've designed and realized a participatory framework for a distributed multi-agent system called SPADES. This participatory framework allows human beings to interact into the simulation, directly controlling agents inside the virtual environment.
